Presenter Guidelines

We are so looking forward to seeing you present your work in Atlanta March 2-5, 2023. If you haven’t already done so, you can see the time, date, and location of your presentation at our online agenda accessible via this link. We have a few reminders and tips for you as you prepare.

Workshop & Symposia

  • Our conference rooms have projectors, but you will need to bring a laptop with you to plug into the projector. The projectors have HDMI connectors, be sure to bring any adapters you will need in order to connect to your laptop via HDMI.

  • There are no amplified speakers on the projectors, so if you are planning to play a video or play other audio for your presentation, you will need to bring a speaker that connects to your laptop.

Structured Discussions

  • You may want to bring a handout with your key points and discussion prompts to distribute to the individuals who select to sit at your discussion table. Discussion leaders typically start the conversation off by sharing key information, posing discussion questions, and facilitating the dialogue. Because there will be multiple structured discussions occurring concurrently in this space, you will not be able to utilize multimedia aids (e.g., PowerPoint, audio, etc). We hope that this roundtable format will lead to rich dialogue.

Poster Presentations

Book Blitz

  • You’ll have up to 5 minutes to describe your book, the quicker and more concise the better/more impactful!
