Each year, AWP holds a national convention that features presentations by researchers, practitioners and policy-makers and provides an educational forum on many issues.

Caucuses within AWP are formed by members who have an interest in a particular topic. Caucuses can be any size and they typically meet at the AWP annual conference for networking and discussion.
