How do I make hotel reservations?

Reserve your room at the beautiful AWP Conference Hotel, the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center at the University of Texas. Secure the reduced room rate ($209 + tax): https://book.passkey.com/gt/217442463?gtid=bdc027ba8a9143b43011841f301f8760 by registering now--rooms at the reduced rate are limited and we expect they'll sell out quickly.

If you try to use this code to book rooms outside of our discounted time block, you will get a message that no rooms are available. Instead, call the hotel and give them the discount code for the 4 nights we have blocked for the conference and ask them to add on the extra nights at whatever price they have for those nights. Thank you.

AT&T Hotel and Conference Center is located in the heart of Austin, offering hotel rooms, meeting space and fine dining. Featuring 276 guest rooms and 21 suites onsite, the hotel offers inspiring views of The University of Texas at Austin's Main Tower, the Texas State Capitol, and the serene central courtyard.

Reservations must be received by Feb. 2, 2020 to get the conference rate of $209.00 plus taxes (%) on standard rooms. For disability access, please register early directly with the hotel. A limited number of rooms with two queen beds must be reserved through the hotel’s reservations office by phone.

Where can I get good food?

We can’t believe you’re asking this question for Austin, but here it goes! Breakfast and receptions are provided with your registration for the conference. The hotel offers a small take-out café with breakfast goodies, as well as a medium-priced lunch restaurant and a more expensive restaurant. Austin is a foodie’s dream and we will give attendees a long list of favorite restaurants. We will also have group signup sheets at the conference.
