Room Scholarship: A limited number of scholarships are also available for a discounted room at the conference hotel.  Contact Mala Matacin for more information at matacin@hartford.edu

Volunteer reduced registration: For students and/or those with limited means, AWP is able to offer limited reduced registration in exchange for 4-hour volunteer slots during the conference. Volunteer slots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.

Room rates are

$21/night for 4-person room
$42/night for 2-person room

Conference coordinators will assign roommates and will inform recipients of roommate name and contact information in order to help attendees coordinate room plans and needs. If groups of scholarship recipients would like to room together, this will need to be mutually agreed upon by all roommates prior to attending the conference. 

Preference will be given to individuals with limited means who are presenting at the conference.
